Kruggel Lawton CPAs Announces Promotions

We proudly announce the promotions of six firm professionals.

 

Kruggel Lawton CPAs is delighted to announce the promotion of several of its professionals in the firm.

Ethan Kirkman, CPA is a senior staff accountant in the firm's South Bend, Ind., office. Ethan provides a variety of assurance engagements to local clients including employee benefit plan audits, reviews and compilations. He received his MBA and BS in Accounting & Finance from Trine University. He is a member of the Indiana CPA Society and in his free time, enjoys spending time with family and friends. He's a big fan of the outdoors, especially when it involves activities such as running, hiking and hunting. When Ethan's not out adventuring, you can find him with a good book - usually on the topics of personal finance or development.

Taylor Linhart is a senior staff accountant in the firm's Elkhart, Ind., office. Taylor primarily works on engagements for nonprofit clients preparing corporate, and individual tax returns, forecasts and projections and audits, reviews and compilations. She received her BA in Accounting from Bethel University. She is a member of the Indiana CPA Society. She is also active in her church in Nappanee. In her spare time Taylor likes to spend time with her family, watching or playing basketball or enjoying a game of euchre. She and her husband love taking their golden retriever, Theo, with them to the lake whenever they get a chance.

Jorgen Reimer, CPA is a senior staff accountant in the firm's Goshen, Ind., office. Jorgen provides tax services to a variety of clients including corporate and individual tax preparation as well as audit, reviews and compilations. He received a BA in Economics, Accounting and Honors Humanities from Indiana Wesleyan University. He is a member of the Indiana CPA Society. Jorgen enjoys playing basketball and watching sports, especially Notre Dame. He also likes biking, hiking and camping, mostly any outside activity. Whenever he gets the time, he likes to read, especially about economics, history and science fiction.

Allison Allman, CPA is a manager in the firm's St. Joseph, Mich., office. Allison has several years experience in public accounting. She focuses on audit and tax services for governmental and nonprofit entities, along with general accounting services. She received a Masters in Business Administration from Spring Arbor University and a BBA in Accountancy from Grand Valley State University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of CPAs. She's also very active in her church and community serving as a board member of Girls on the Run Southwest Michigan. In her free time, Allison loves to play soccer or go to the beach with her husband and their two dogs. She also enjoys enhancing their home with fun DIY projects.

Cody Newport, CPA is a senior manager in the firm's Goshen, Ind., office. He is experienced in assurance, employee benefit plan audits and accounting services. Cody has extensive knowledge in assurance services, representing a wide variety of industries, especially manufacturing and distribution. He received a BS in Accounting and Finance from Valparaiso University. He is a member of the Association of International Certified Public Accountants, has an advanced certification in audits of defined contribution plans and is also a member of the Indiana CPA Society. When Cody is not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, especially at Disney World, watching football and hockey, and supporting Goshen High School athletics.

Shane Stopczynski, CPA is a senior manager in the firm's South Bend, Ind., office. He is experienced in outsourced CFO services, property tax preparation, audit, review, and compilation engagements for a variety of industries including manufacturing, construction contractors, and wholesale distributors. He received a BS in Accounting from Indiana University and an AA in General Studies from Holy Cross College. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA Society. Shane is also active in his church and community as a past mentor for Indiana CPA Society High School Scholars, past board member of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Michiana and a current board member and treasurer of Studebaker National Museum. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife and children. When time allows, he can be found completing home improvement projects, golfing or working on antique cars.
