Kruggel Lawton Announces Six New Team Members

Kruggel Lawton is pleased to announce the addition of six new staff members in recent months. Kristy Kruggel, Brian Mitchell, Aaron Hoeppner, Sarah Mobley, and Olivia Seguna joined the firm’s South Bend, Ind., office. Mark Kramer joined the firm's Elkhart, Ind. office. Each of these new team members help us to serve nonprofit and tax clients in a wide selection of industries.

Kristy Kruggel provides accounting services for our growing number of business accounting services clients. She received a B.A. degree in Humanities, Social Science and Education from Purdue. In case you’re wondering, Kristy is married to our Kurt!

Brian Mitchell, CPA is involved at the senior staff accountant level working on a variety of engagements for nonprofit organizations. Areas of service include audits, reviews and compilations, data analytics, VBA/VB6 programming and corporate tax preparation. Brian received a B.S. degree in Accounting and Operations Management from Indiana University, Bloomington. He also completed an MBA from Indiana University South Bend.

Aaron Hoeppner, QKA, is involved at the senior staff accountant level and brings more than 12 years of retirement planning experience from both a national CPA firm and the banking industry. Aaron primarily works on assurance engagements, with areas of service including management and review audits of retirement plans. He is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries, and obtained both an MBA and a B.S. in Business from Purdue University.

Mark Kramer brings over four years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting services, including audit review and compilation. He is involved at the senior staff accountant level and also specializes in general ledger accounting and 990 preparation. Mark is a graduate of Mishawaka’s own Bethel University, with a B.S. in Accounting.

Sarah Mobley, is experienced in audit, review and compilation engagements for a variety of industries, including local units of government and municipalities. She specializes in nonprofit organizations and is involved at the senior staff accountant level. Sarah obtained her Masters in Business Administration from Indiana University South Bend and a B.S. in Accounting from Purdue University.

Olivia Seguna is involved at the staff accountant level and is experienced in tax services including individual, property, and corporate tax preparation. She earned her MBA in Accounting with a concentration in Taxation from Davenport University in Grand Rapids, Michigan and has a B.S. in Accounting from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan.
