Kruggel Lawton Announces Promotions

Kruggel Lawton CPAs is pleased to announce the promotions of seven professionals. Michelle Adams, Josh Brown, Michele Brown and Kyle Pletcher are now senior staff accountants. Cody Newport and Sara Ross have been promoted to manager.

 

Michelle Adams, CPA, has been promoted to senior staff accountant in Kruggel Lawton’s Elkhart office. She has been with the firm since 2013 and focuses her work on audit, tax, and accounting services for businesses and individuals. Adams received her undergraduate degree in accounting from Indiana University, South Bend, IN.

 

Josh Brown, CPA, has been promoted to senior staff accountant in Kruggel Lawton’s Elkhart office. He has been with the firm since 2014 and has been involved in multiple assurance engagements, with a focus on non-profit entities. Brown received his undergraduate degree in accounting, business administration and Bible from Grace College, Winona Lake, IN.

 

Michele Brown, CPA, has been promoted to senior staff accountant in Kruggel Lawton’s South Bend office. She has been with the firm since 2013 and is primarily involved with assurance engagements, as well as tax preparation engagements. Her client work has recently focused on the construction industry. Brown received her undergraduate degree in accounting and human resource management from Indiana University, South Bend, IN.

 

Kyle Pletcher, CPA, has been promoted to senior staff accountant in Kruggel Lawton’s St. Joseph office. He has been with the firm since 2015 and specializes in assurance for nonprofit organizations and government entities. Pletcher received his undergraduate degree in accounting from Manchester University, North Manchester, IN.

 

Cody Newport, CPA, has been promoted to manager in Kruggel Lawton’s Elkhart office. He has been with the firm since 2015 and is well versed in audits and reviews of large and small companies in a variety of industries and has experience in employee benefit plan audits, as well. Newport received his undergraduate degree in accounting and finance from Valparaiso University, Valparaiso, IN.

 

Sara Ross, CPA, CGMA has been promoted to manager in Kruggel Lawton’s South Bend office. She has been with the firm since 2009 and is experienced in tax services for a variety of industries and individuals, as well as assurance engagements. Ross received her undergraduate degree in accounting and finance, as well as a minor in economics, from Manchester University, North Manchester, IN.
