Kate Nafziger Leichty, CPA Joins Kruggel Lawton CPAs’ Goshen Office

Kruggel Lawton CPAs, a regional full-service accounting and business advisory firm, is pleased to announce that Kate Leichty, CPA has joined its downtown Goshen, IN office as a Senior Manager.

Kate is a Goshen native, graduated from Goshen High School, and received a B.A. in Accounting with a minor in Business from Goshen College.  While at Goshen College, she studied in the Dominican Republic for a semester, prepared income taxes for low-income families from the Goshen area, and was Operations Manager at the student-run coffeehouse on campus.  Kate holds an active CPA license in both Indiana and California.

Kate began her career with Crowe LLP in Elkhart, and relocated to California to help build the firm’s office in Sacramento.  She and her family relocated back to Goshen in 2017, at which time she returned to Crowe’s Elkhart office.  In her role at Kruggel Lawton, Kate will lead the delivery of tax services to clients, coach and supervise professional staff, and serve as a firmwide resource on pass-through entities and state and local tax matters.  She will also actively renew and build relationships and help represent Kruggel Lawton throughout the greater Goshen area.

Kate is the daughter of Laurie and Roger Nafziger, who are well-known and active in the Goshen community.  Kate and her husband Will – also a Goshen College Accounting grad and CPA (inactive) – reside in Goshen along with their three daughters.
