Experienced in tax services for closely held business owners and families. Stephen joined the firm in 2018 with experience in tax planning, compliance and research while serving a variety of industries, focusing on manufacturing and distribution clients.

EXPERIENCE

Stephen is involved at the partner level on tax engagements. He provides oversight and leadership of tax returns for corporate and individual clients. Areas of service include:

• Review federal and state income tax returns for corporate, S corp, partnership and individual clients
• Expertise in federal, state and local income and sale and use areas
• Proactive tax planning strategies for closely held business owners, families and corporations
• Assisting clients in resolving tax inquiries and controversies with federal, state and local tax authorities
• Tax compliance expertise and research of complex matters
• Succession planning and transaction services

INTERESTS

Stephen and his wife, Freya, live in Bremen with their six children. He and his family spent one year in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania completing mission-related accounting work while living abroad.
