Welcome Jim Champer, CPA

MAY 29, 2015 -- We are pleased to announce that James B. Champer, CPA, has joined Kruggel Lawton as a senior manager. Jim has over 20 years of public accounting experience, with a primary concentration in corporate, partnership, nonprofit, fiduciary, and individual taxation. His experience also includes service at the University of Notre Dame in the role of fund manager for the Controller Department, as well as accounting manager for Goodwill Industries of Michiana, Inc.

At Kruggel Lawton, Jim will focus on serving clients and providing guidance to colleagues on tax matters. In addition, he will contribute to the growth of the firm’s fiduciary tax services and nonprofit practice area.

Originally from Chicago, Ill., Jim earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Ferris State University, Big Rapids, Mich. Jim is an active member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Indiana CPA Society.
