TWO KRUGGEL, LAWTON & COMPANY STAFF EARN CPA LICENSES

(South Bend/Elkhart) Kruggel, Lawton & Company, LLC CPAs is pleased to announce that Andrea Skyrm and Leslie Bauer have both received their CPA license.

Andrea Skyrm joined Kruggel, Lawton & Company's Elkhart office in 2006. Since that time, she has worked on audit, review, and compilation engagements with a focus on tax in a variety of industries including manufacturing, construction, wholesale distribution, and service. Skyrm is a graduate of Bethany Christian High School and Eastern Mennonite University, Harrisonburg, VA.

Leslie Bauer joined Kruggel, Lawton & Company's South Bend office in 2007 after working for another public accounting firm for several years. She works on various tax services as well as audit, review, and compilation engagements in a variety of industries including manufacturing, construction, wholesale distribution, and service. She also has experience conducting employee benefit plan audits. Bauer is a graduate of LaSalle High School and Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN.
The Uniform CPA Examination measures professional competence and helps to establish the CPA license as evidence of professional qualification. The examination is a 14-hour computer-based test (CBT) with four sections: Auditing & Attestation, Financial Accounting & Reporting, Regulation, and Business Environment & Concepts.

Kruggel, Lawton & Company, LLC CPAs is pleased to announce the following staff additions:

(South Bend)
Leslie Bauer - Leslie joined Kruggel, Lawton & Company's South Bend office as a staff accountant and will focus her efforts in a broad range of service areas. She has public accounting experience and recently passed the CPA exam and is awaiting certification. Leslie is a native of South Bend and a graduate of Purdue University.

Tony Gillisse, CPA - Tony joined Kruggel, Lawton & Co. as an Audit Manager in our South Bend office. He has over eight years of experience in public accounting performing assurance, tax, and consulting work for a variety of closely-held companies. He graduated magna cum laude in accounting from Western Michigan University in 1999.

Lisa Wagler - Lisa joined Kruggel, Lawton & Co.'s South Bend office as part of the Small Business Group. She will assist clients with bookkeeping and other accounting services. She has an AD in business from IU South Bend and is currently working toward an accounting degree at IU South Bend.

Melanie DeGroff - Melanie joined Kruggel, Lawton & Company's Elkhart office and will concentrate her efforts in the areas of trust and estate planning. She has over six years of public accounting experience and a degree in Accounting from IU South Bend. She is originally from the Concord/Dunlap area and currently lives in Elkhart.

Shawn L. Mawhorter, CPA joined Kruggel, Lawton's Elkhart office as a Tax Manager. She has 13 years in public accounting concentrating in business, S-Corp, partnership, and individual tax consulting. She is a graduate of Purdue University and currently lives in the Goshen area.

Erin Richard - Erin returns to Kruggel, Lawton's Elkhart office as a full-time staff member after graduating from Eastern Mennonite University. Erin completed an internship with Kruggel, Lawton in the spring of 2007. She will work in both the tax and assurance services areas. She is a Goshen native and still lives in the community.

Kruggel, Lawton & Company, LLC CPAs is pleased to announce the following staff appointments:

Jim Imes, CPA joined Kruggel, Lawton & Company as a manager. He is a graduate of Indiana University where he earned his B.S. in Business. Jim has over 15 years of experience assisting clients in the manufacturing, distribution, and wholesale industries. He has performed audit, review, and compilation engagements for companies with annual revenues ranging from $500,000 to $500,000,000. He specializes in business acquisitions and inventory costing and valuation. Jim will work in the South Bend office.

Andrea Skyrm joined Kruggel, Lawton & Company as a staff accountant in the Elkhart office. She recently completed her internship with Kruggel, Lawton and graduated from Eastern Mennonite University where she earned her degree in Accounting.

Sue Leda joined Kruggel, Lawton & Company as a processing administrator in the South Bend office. She is a graduate of St. Joseph High School and is a lifelong South Bend resident. She has 16 years of experience in sales and customer relations.

Laura (Lundeen) Frizzo joined Kruggel, Lawton & Company as a processing administrator in the Elkhart office. Frizzo is a graduate of Concord High School and has five years of experience in sales and customer service.
